All video restoration, photo restoration, enhancement, color correction, and upscaling services provided by EVT are performed using advanced digital processing technologies and professional restoration workflows. Services and deliverables are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
While we make every effort to improve clarity, resolution, sharpness, and color accuracy, results are inherently dependent on the condition, age, format, and quality of the original media submitted. Legacy recordings, degraded tapes, film stock, compressed digital files, and damaged photographs may contain limitations that cannot be fully corrected. Enhancement processes may occasionally produce visual artifacts, distortions, texture irregularities, color shifts, or other unintended characteristics that are a normal part of digital restoration and are not considered defects.
EVT does not guarantee that restored or enhanced media will meet subjective expectations regarding sharpness, realism, or aesthetic outcome. We are not responsible for limitations inherent in the original recording, including but not limited to low resolution, motion blur, focus issues, lighting deficiencies, tracking errors, dropouts, compression artifacts, or physical damage present prior to processing.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EVT disclaims all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. EVT shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of our services. By submitting media for restoration or enhancement, clients acknowledge and accept these inherent limitations and potential variations in outcome. One free revision is allowed per order.
Your Media, Your Rights
Your original tapes, films, photos, and digital files always remain yours. EVT does not claim ownership of your content at any time.
In order to perform restoration, enhancement, transfer, or upscaling services, you grant EVT a limited, non-exclusive right to copy, digitize, process, and create working versions of your submitted media strictly for production purposes. This permission exists solely so we can complete the services you’ve requested.
EVT will not use, publish, display, or share your content for marketing, promotional, training, or demonstration purposes without your written authorization. Your media is handled confidentially and will not be sold, licensed, or disclosed to outside parties except as necessary to complete the requested services.
After project completion and delivery, EVT may retain digital working copies for a limited period for quality control, archival backup, or client re-delivery requests. Unless otherwise arranged, these files may be securely deleted after 14 days.
By submitting media to EVT, you confirm that you have the legal authority to provide the materials for processing and that doing so does not violate the rights of any third party, including copyright holders.
Institutional clients may be referenced by name for portfolio purposes unless a written confidentiality agreement states otherwise.
